Coach Destiney Mebane enters her fourth season as the Head Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Los Osos High School. Since taking over the program, she has continued to build a competitive and positive team culture, highlighted by a 2025 league championship and an undefeated league record.
With more than 10 years of coaching experience at the high school level, Coach Mebane has worked with both boys’ and girls’ volleyball programs. She began coaching at the lower levels and, through her dedication to player development and the sport, worked her way into the head coaching role.
Coach Mebane is passionate about developing well-rounded student-athletes. She believes volleyball teaches far more than technical skills—it instills teamwork, discipline, resilience, accountability, and a competitive mindset that extends well beyond the court. Her goal is to help every athlete reach their full potential while creating an environment built on hard work, trust, and a love for the game.
